The trout fishing along the splendid coasts on Hindsholm is fantastic. Fishing can be rewarding all year round, with spring, summer and autumn being the best seasons, when the fishing is equal to the very best fishing waters.
Within walking distance from the farm you will have access to many of Hindsholm’s best fishing grounds for sea trout. Here, you may also catch mackerel (in summer) and garfish (spring and early summer).
Many fishing enthusiasts return to Hindsholm and Langø year after year because of the unique location with easy and quick access to many beautiful and rewarding fishing grounds, located to the north, south, east and west.
Just a 10 minutes’ drive by car will take you to the Great Belt coast on the east side of Hindsholm. As you can see from the map below, you will always be able to find a sheltered coast, regardless of the wind direction.
Hindsholm is a paradise for anyone who enjoys fishing, kayaking, stand-up paddling, wind- or kitesurfing and swimming, or simply loves to be by the sea, just as we do ourselves.
Anglers and sport fishermen from all over the world come from far away to visit this “secret” gem.

Note: Many fishing spots are marked to be less rewarding when fishing in the summertime, but many fine trout are being caught, a/o at the time around sunset, at night and at sunrise. Further, the water to the west is deep, and will not often become too warm. The same applies to certain sites to the north at Fynshoved and to the east on the Great Belt coast.
Catch shrimps in the fjord and try them as bait – it could be most rewarding.
